It's been a busy week! Highlights include:
Major Echomail & QWK improvements
Added Subscribe to All for QWK nodes.
Improved FTP packet handling and diagnostics.
Added full BinkP session transcripts to make troubleshooting much easier.
Network Join System
Built a complete public Join Our Network system.
Prospective systems can download the network info pack, read the rules, submit applications, and be approved entirely through the web interface.
Supports both BinkP and QWK node applications.
New Notification System
Sysops are now automatically notified when:
new network applications arrive
QWK requests are submitted
federation requests need approval
unknown echomail areas are discovered
new users require manual approval
Hub Management Enhancements
New Join Form administration.
Improved node management.
Better poll logging and diagnostics.
Cleaner management of QWK and BinkP networks.
Documentation Overhaul
Updated the manual and wiki to reflect all of the new networking features.
Added dedicated Notifications documentation.
Corrected numerous outdated or inaccurate pages.
Bug Fixes
Eliminated poll log spam caused by self-referential polling.
Improved error reporting throughout the networking stack.
Added extensive automated test coverage for all of the above.
