This is the community documentation for ANetBBS — the modern,
multi-protocol Bulletin Board System that powers this site.

The wiki is a place where users, sysops, and curious passers-by can
read about how the BBS works, look up technical details, and (if
they're logged in) help edit and expand the docs.

Connecting

ANetBBS speaks every classic BBS protocol plus a modern web UI:

• Web Access — the easy path, in your browser
• Telnet — classic terminal access on TCP 23
• SSH — secure terminal access on TCP 22
• Rlogin — game-server style auto-login on TCP 513

About this wiki

• Anyone can read. Logged-in users can edit.
• Use [[Page Name]] to link to another wiki page.
• Every edit is kept in Revision History — see the page's
  history button.
• Missing pages show up on Wanted Pages.
• Pages no other page links to are listed under
  Orphans in the wiki nav.

New users: when you spot something wrong or unclear, click the
